Black and Tan

So we went out to Brecksville for the second weekend in a row since sending temps have arrived. We have been troopin around finding all the blocks we can and putting up FA'a wherever possible. After the trip to the new we stopped at Brecksville for a quick sesh while Con man took care of some Cleveland business and put up a really cool new roof problem called 'earthen underbelly' which is like three big power moves to a terrible top out. I got the first ascent after minimal work and Mike got the second ascent this pass weekend confirming a grade of v4. When we trooped down to some new blocks this weekend we found an amazing new line dubbed 'Black and Tan' after some crazy beta and quite a bit of work I bagged it with Mike getting the second only a few minutes later (ended up being some epic heel hookin beta) and we are calling it a v5 because the crux feels longer and harder than any of the other fours in the park.

I am pumped because as the temps continue to cool off there are some epic trips in the works. First off my dad just moved to the north western corner of south carolina only a stones throw away from some of the best bouldering in the southeast so for thanksgiving break me and channa are making the cruise down there and are gonna hit all the spots including Rocktown where I'm gonna try and bag the orb a project I put a lot of work in on last year and hope to send soon. Also me and the crew plan on ringing in the new year at Horse Pens 40 and hit all the classic southern spots before I have to get a real job and the crew has to head back to school.
